Max isn’t anyone special. He’s just a guy. He works. He plays. He had good ideas and bad ideas. Most importantly, at least for this site, he drinks beer.
Max prefers dark beer, porters and stouts, but as a t-shirt of his clearly states “It doesn’t care what it drinks.” Basically, if it’s free, he’ll at least try to drink the beer just to be pleasant.
This site is not meant to fund an addiction. This site is to be nice. Your being friendly will buy a guy a beer. Nothing more, nothing less. You should feel good about it. This type of thing happens all over the world in bars, clubs, pubs and restaurants. Now you can be a nice person online. That should make you feel pretty good too.

Max skis a lot, climbs a lot and has many other hobbies. Recently he learned that the amount of beer he drinks is directly and inversely proportional to the amount he plays. By making a non-beer donation, you are supporting max's other hobbies and therefore, his non-drinking. It may seem a little confusing, but really, it makes sense. Because this site is about buying max beer, it is not recommended that you make this selection. It is only here to create a voice for the non-beer people out there.
Max has friends. They're good people. You can buy them beer too. Selecting this item will only buy max's friends beer. No beer for max.
