Three fun ways to join my Ministry Support Team.
1) Commit to pray for me. I will be facing many new and exciting challenges in a far off place. Please make a commitment to pray for me as often as you are able.
James 5: 16b – 18–The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. Elijah was a man just like us. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain and it did not rain on the land for three years. Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain and the earth produced crops.
2) Provide a one-time gift. There are many expenses that will come up as part of my ministry, everything from a laptop that will allow me to stay in contact with people at home to travel expenses.
Philipians 4: 10–I rejoice greatly in the Lord that at last you have renewed your concern for me. Indeed, you have been concerned but you had no opportunity to show it.
3) Provide a monthly gift. Monthly support will help to provide a living wage for me as I do the work the Lord has called me to do. All giving is an act of recognition that all of our money is God’s, and it is an act of great faith in God’s willingness to provide for his children.
Luke 8: 1 – 3–After this, Jesus traveled about from one town and village to another, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom of God. The twelve were with him, and also some women who had been cured of evil spirits and diseases…These women were helping to support them out of their own means.
